The CEAC Grounds

Aerial View of the CEAC Grounds
The Arts Centre utilises the four historic building blocks (the Homestead, Winery Building, Still Building and Garage) on the Corban Estate. There are also a number of other organisations that are resident on the site including the Pacifica Arts Studio, and buildings that are managed by Waitakere City Council, including the former Basketball Courts at the rear of the estate.

In addition to the four building complexes that the Arts Centre occupies there are large, park-like green areas that are utilised for events and festivals. Recently a large foot bridge, the Opanuku Arts Bridge, designed by resident CEAC sculptor Neil Miller, was constructed to link the estate to Henderson Park. This is the first piece of large scale public sculpture at CEAC, and is now utilised as a teaching tool on our education programme.

For any enquiries about booking the CEAC grounds contact the Waitakere City Council on 09 839 0400.
