Neil Miller

Neil Miller works in a variety of mediums including water colour painting and metal sculpture. His art often references systems and codes of communication, and depicts concepts of duality.

Recent work by Neil includes the recently constructed footbridge, the 'Opanuku Arts Bridge' that links the Corban Estate to Henderson Park and a large sculptural piece for the Auckland Domain.

Other local public artwork by Neil Miller can be found at the New Lynn Community Centre where he designed and made a series of metal ‘signal’ works that run along the rear of the building along the rail line.

Born in England, Neil emigrated to NZ with his family in his early teens. He attended the Elam School of Fine Arts at Auckland University and graduated in 1987. He also completed a Diploma in Arts Administration in 1996.
