The Pacifica Arts Village is run by the Pacific Islands Advisory Board through its Arts Committee and is located on the Corban Estate.
The Pacifica Arts Village is the home base of the Pacifica Weavers Group, the ‘Mamas’, who meet every Wednesday, and welcome visitors. Other events and activities include the regular Tivaeave Workshops, (see Classes), and the annual Waitakere Pacifica Living Arts Festival. The Pacifica Experience education programme for schools is also run from the Pacifica Arts Village, where students can get a ‘hands on’ taste of Pacifica arts, crafts, performance and culture.
Pacifica Monthly Markets Second Saturday of every month (except March only - will run on the first Saturday of the month) from 12 noon to 5pm. Featuring Pacifica arts, crafts and food.
