All classes are from 10am – 2.30pm and are two days long. The course fee includes materials. Students need to bring their lunch and an old shirt to protect their clothes.

3D CARTOON WALL PLAQUE (6 - 12 yrs)
TUTOR: JO ERSKINE
Monday 29th – Tuesday 30th September
Fee: $90
We will look at a selection of cartoons from different books, or if they prefer, children can bring in their own favourites. With guidance in drawing and design, children will create a 3D mixed media scene populated with their favourite characters.
QUIRKY CREATURES (6 - 12 yrs)

Fee: $90
Create your own fantastical creature which combines insect and human elements. Using thick card and tubing we will sculpt all sorts of weird and wonderful creatures such as an insectorsauraus!
THE CHAMPIONS CUP (6 - 12 yrs)

Monday 29th – Tuesday 30th September
Fee: $95
In this inspiring clay class, children will create an individually designed goblet or cup, shaping the soft material, carving patterns into the surface and decorating it with colourful slips. The pottery wheel will also be available for use. All vessels will be functional and can be used for drinks or desserts.
ROUSSEAU’S JUNGLE (8 - 12 yrs)
TUTOR: MARY FERGUSON
Wednesday 1st – Thursday 2nd October
Fee: $90
Learn some simple techniques to draw animals and their camouflage in Henri Rousseau’s tropical jungle. Gain an eye for structure, scale, colour and composition as you paint creatures you have always wanted to touch, race or ride. Paint, pastels, dyes, collage and found materials will be used.
CREATURES OF THE NIGHT (8 - 14 yrs)
TUTOR: KRISTIN KELL
Wednesday 1st – Thursday 2nd October
Fee: $90
Paint a full moon nightscape, embellishing trees with real bark and lichen. Turn this painting into a box and make hanging bats, moths and owls using natural fibres, to create a dramatic 3D scene.
LUSCIOUS FRUIT (5 - 12 yrs)
TRILBY FOUNTAIN
Friday 3rd October (one day course)
Fee: $45
Create a rich patchwork of luscious fruit on a canvas panel, inspired by artists such as Henri Matisse, Paul Cezanne and Nancy Titchbourne.
3D PETS (5 - 8 yrs)

Do you have a pet? Would you like to have a dog, a cat, maybe even a rabbit? Join us as we create our own fabulous mixed media masterpiece using paint, clay, and collage looking at your favourite furry and feathered friends.
WHALE RIDER (5 - 9yrs)

Fee: $95
Take a ride on the wild side and make a personalised sculpture from clay! Perhaps you could create yourself riding horse back, riding a white whale or even a motorbike. These are just a few examples to get you inspired!
HUHU BUG BALL MASK MAKING & THEATRE (7 - 12 yrs)

Wednesday 8th - Thursday 9th October
Fee: $90
Make a large character mask of the insect you would love to be, using a variety of dried natural plant fibres. Add feelers, spikes and whiskers to your character mask, and perform in a small group play.
FOLK DOLL (9 - 12 yrs)
TUTOR: TRILBY FOUNTAIN
Friday 10th October (one day course)
Fee: $45
You will learn the fun skills of hand sewing a folk doll made from hessian, wire and felt, decorated with beads and cut out felt motifs, which can be positioned into a sitting or standing postures.
