Artist Jessica Pearless will talk about her exhibition, The After Paintings, discussing key concepts and giving insight into who and what inspires her work.


Kids Art Workshop with Claudia Jowitt


Saturday 15 November, 11am

Join Artist Claudia Jowitt as she teaches children to recreate her distinctive abstract paintings. Children will create and construct simple painted collages by combining different materials together. All materials are provided.

Ben Paris talks about bats


Saturday 6 December, 11am

To accompany Tessa Laird's exhibition, House of Bats, expert Ben Paris will talk about bats around the world, bats in New Zealand, and the work he carries out for the Auckland Council with our rare population of long-tailed bats. If you're not already a bat fan, you'll be one by the end of this talk.

Ben Paris is a Senior Biodeversity Advisor at the Auckland Council.
