We offer our six core programmes that all focus on the Visual Arts Curriculum strands PK, DI, UC and CI, and can be adapted to suit both primary and secondary aged students.
(1) Gallery Experience: Predominately focuses on the arts and culture of Waitakere City and has a workshop programme based around the exhibition.
(2) Heroes of History: Discover the site rich history of the Corbans family and their winemaking business. Celebrate the heritage, stories, families and personalities of the area.
(3) Site Specific: Study artists on site who work on 'site specific' installation.
(4) Re-duce, Re-use, Re-create: Waitakere City's objectives of being a sustainable, green city are reflected in these workshops.
(5) Open Studio: Visit a studio at CEAC and meet the artist.
(6) Symbols of Identity: Nga Toi Waitakere and the Pacifica Experience programme enables students to gain an understanding of the richness of the Maori and Pacific Island cultures from experienced tutors and artists.
